Bucharest Information

Accommodation options

The school is in the area of Voluntari, which is in the north of the city proper. As we are such a small conference, we are unable to secure special deals with hotels. Attendees are encouraged to look at AirBnBs in the Pipera, Dorobanti, Floreasca and Baneasa areas of Bucharest. School recommended hotels are the Hotel Moxa (Victoiel) and Hotel Paris (Doribanti).

The hotel booking sites of Booking.com, Trivago, Agoda, Hotels.com etc all have a variety of places at different price points.

There are limited accommodation options close to the school, but many options in the city. It depends on what your preference of where to stay is.

Sunday the 19th April 2020 is Romanian Orthodox Easter which is a major holiday in Romania.  School and public holidays begin on 17th April.

Transportation to and from the airport, hotel/AirBnBs/school is easiest via the Uber app. It is not recommended to take/hail yellow cabs.
